In October we’ve been (re)presented at three important local conferences:
- D-Foot International and 5th Global Wound Conference 2023 – October 6-8, Selangor – Auxilto Malaysia. This conference was organized and attended by both DEBx Medical and Auxilto.
n collaboration with our distributor Auxilto, DEBx Medical was present during the 3-day conference in Selangor. Since our first participation in 2022, a lot has changed in Southeast Asia already. When we joined Auxilto at the conference last year, we just started local registrations and introducing our product to the local healthcare professionals.
One year later, the product has been registered and approved in Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar already. Also, we’re on the verge of being accepted in Singapore as well. Furthermore, multiple case studies have been done. A selection of impressive cases was presented by 4 important Key Opinion Leaders at our symposium talk.
- Dr. Mohamad Helmi Mohd Rashidi (Malaysia) – Busting the Bioburden, DEBRICHEM: Chemical debrider, healer of wounds.
- Ass. Prof. Dr. Nuttawut Sermsathanasawadi (Thailand) – Experience with an infection elimination method in daily clinical practice in Thailand.
- Dr. H. Erhan Güven (Türkiye) – An insight on a chemical debridement agent and its use in Türkiye.
- Prof. Dato’ Dr. Harikrishna KR Nair (Malaysia) – Working mechanism of a topical desiccating agent and its place in the clinical setting in Malaysia.
- XVII Congresso Nazionale AIUC 2023 – October 11-14, Torino, Italy – M.I.T. Italia. This conference was organized and attended by both DEBx Medical and M.I.T. Italia.
In collaboration with our distribution partner M.I.T. Italia, we were present at the annual wound care conference in Turin, Italy. The event generated significant traction and valuable leads for our team.
Our sponsored symposium talk garnered considerable interest and engagement, providing a platform for thought-provoking discussions and insights. Besides our own team members, Prof. Carlo Alberto Bignozzi and Dr. Alberto Cogo, also Dr. Andrea Bruttocao and Prof. Elia Ricci presented their experiences with DEBRICHEM. The positive response from attendees indicates the impact of our product.
